Happy Easter!
We hope everyone had a nice Easter. We were fortunate to spend the day with some great friends having brunch at one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. Nothing says celebrating the holiest day of the year like fried egg sandwiches and cheesy potatoes. Evan was all dressed up for the occasion. So determined to crawl.
Of course, the tongue must come out.
Standing Tall
I know the saying is you have to crawl before you walk. We're starting to think Evan may skip the crawling part. Here is what we walked into the other day (sorry for the poor quality picture and video).

Era of the Band
...it's a "band", not a helmet. After many months of deliberation, we decided to address Evan's noticeable flat spot on the back of his head. We talked to several people and heard that some friends went the same route, which helped us make the final decision. We've had to endure several parents staring and many kids asking why the baby is wearing a helmet. Although part of me wants to smack the parents upside the head and tell them to remember their manners and let them know our kid just has a flat head...I typically refrain. Regardless, I (Paul) have been super sensitive about this issue so I actually wasn't planning any new blogs including the band. Since I don't want the next 6 months of his life to pass without any pictures to remember it by, I decided I needed to get over my fears. Therefore, I'm treating this blog post as a sort of therapy. Also since our families are the only people that read this...it's pretty safe to say the world will still not know of Evan's band.
So in the spirit of the photo dump that both my siblings currently have on their sites and since it has been a month since the last post...here is my attempt at a dump:
At the doctor's office, waiting for 6 months shots.
Straight Thuggin.
The band definitely doesn't bother him at night.
