It only took two hours, one trip to the hardware store, and one bandaide...but I put up a shelf today. The most exciting part was I used multiple tools (successfully) including my electric drill and level. As always, there was no need for the tape measure. My keen eye did all the measuring.
Here's some perspective to my master carpentry. Note the semi-naked baby in the shot. That was not intentional, but will provide a nice piece of courtroom evidence for Child Services.
looks good! Although I don't think you have to say "electric" drill. I think just 'drill' covers the fact that it's not just a screwdriver...

Nice job on the shelf! But the White Sox are beating the O's right now, so I am not feeling the hat sitting on said shelf.
